Our Follow up KB lesson

During our 2nd lesson, I sieved out most of the relevant questions and used KB Talk to carry out a class discussion on the digestive system. Almost all 4A pupils had something to say about what they already know about this system and were keen to research to home and add on details to their ideas. The following pictures are just the starting of our knowledge web.... Children, feel free to add more questions and responses to this post. Remember to use appropriate sentence starters when you add ideas or ask questions.

    1. First we chew the food, then we swallow down to the gullet which bring the food into the stomach. In the stomach, the food will be crushed and add digestive juices to it.Then it will be in the small intestine and more digestive juices will be added and done. Then it will follow our blood stream to our other parts of our body. The non-digest food will go into the large intestine and pass out from our body.

  9. I would like to respond to Shayn's Q. All of us are made up of a number of systems working together. The digestive system is part of our body that is there to help us digest our food and supply our body with energy. I hope some of the other children can respond to Jess, Jet and Yong Shin's question.
